She works with all members of the Primary Health Care Team and most importantly, with patients. Any changes she suggests to individual medication regimes are planned and discussed with the doctors before implementation. She is bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and staff.

The team of district nurses and healthcare assistants provide nursing care for patients of all ages in the community.
They can provide acute clinical care and have expertise in nursing terminally ill patients in their own homes. Arrangements for care in the home are usually made by the doctors or on discharge from the hospital but should you wish to contact the nurse yourself, please telephone Forfar 468344 Monday to Friday 09:00 – 16:30 or telephone the surgery.
